Welcome to the AlexIcon - my tribute to the wonderfully talented British actress Alex Kingston, best known for her roles as Dr. Elizabeth Corday in the American hit TV show "ER", and her title role in the British TV production of Moll Flanders.
On this site you can find over a hundred pitures of Alex and read the most recent interviews and news. I'm also constantly working on adding new features and improving the ones that exist. Closing down!

  • I'm sad to report that next month will mark the end of my first and last year online with The Alex Icon. This decision has nothing to do with Alex Kingston leaving the ER, because I would have been happy to keep following her career post-ER, but I find I simply don't have the time or money to keep up a website anymore. I'll be going offline in the beginning of August, so if anyone wants to save any of the files on my site to their own computers, either for personal use or for other websites, there'll now be about a month for everyone to do so.
    Thank you all for visiting my site and thank you for the lovely feedback. It has been a pleasure serving you.

  • I apologise for not being able to update the site for some time, but I have now returned with a piece of sad news: Alex Kingston's contract with ER has ended and it is not going to be renewed. She will return in the beginning of season 11 for an exit arc.
